Connecting a pen display to a USB-C port on a GPU

It might be possible to use the USB-C port on your GPU. It depends on what you are trying to accomplish.
In this case, the cable must carry video, power, and data. Currently, I only know of one GPU series with a USB-C port that might work for this case: the NVIDIA RTX 2080 series.

To be clear, I have never personally tested this scenario with an RTX 2080 card.
Keep in mind that USB-C ports on a GPU almost never supply power. They will send a video signal, and they might carry data, but without power they can't support a one-cable connection on their own. So don't assume a GPU's USB-C port will work for a single-cable setup — a few people have told me they made it work, but I've never seen it myself.
If a USB-C port is on a GPU, it should support a video signal.
