# Xencelabs V2 pens notes

## Summary

\`These are good performing pens with a good pressure range.

## Models

* 3 Button Pen + Eraser v2 (XMCPH35)
* Thin Pen + Eraser v2 (XMCPH36)

## Compatibility

* These V2 pens do not work with the earlier Xencelabs pen tablet model (BPH1212W-A) that came with the V1 pens

## Appearance

* These V2 pens are sightly different than the previous V1 pens. The thing that visually distinguishes them the most is a small yellow Xencelabs logo near the eraser. This is a nice branding touch, I wish other tablet manufacturers followed this pattern.

## **Min pressure (IAF)**

Rating: GOOD. 3gf in my testing.

## **Max pressure**

Rating: GOOD to VERY GOOD

Xencelabs has indicated their max pressure should be 500gf. My measurements found the units to range within 350gf to 500gf.
