# Upgrading to Wacom One Pen (CP-913)

## Overview

Devices that work with the Samsung S pen ALSO work with other UD EMR pens. In particular, these devices will also work with the Wacom CP-913 pen.

If you are currently using a S pen with your device, consider buying a Wacom CP-913 to use with it.

* At the very least you will have a backup pen
* Max pressure - The CP-913 pen has a higher maximum pressure compared to the S-Pen
* IAF - the CP-913 has a similar IAF to the Samsung S pen - maybe slightly lower in the models I have tested. Keep in mind individual units vary in IAF.

## Samsung Galaxy Tab S with the CP-913

Lots of users with Samsung Galaxy Tab switch to using the CP-913 pen because of the superior pressure. It's worth trying it out to see if it benefits you.

## Key advantages of the CP-913 over the Samsung S pen

* CP-913 units have a lower IAF. So less force is required for the pen to start drawing.
* CP-913 units have a higher maximum physical pressure. This makes it easier to control how pressure works with your strokes.

## Key differences between the CP-013 and the Samsung S pen

* The S Pen has a rubber nib
* The CP-913 uses a plastic nib. It may feel a little more slippery on the glass of a Sassung Tab S device.
