Overview

A decent standalone tablet comparable to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9FE.

My unit exhibited strong "pulsing" in tilt.

Software

This tablet is sold as a note-taking device, so the note-taking app is part of what you are buying.

The app is XPPen Notes, which is a white-labelled version of JNotes. Some of its functionality sits behind a paid tier, so check which features you need are free before buying the tablet for note-taking.

Anti-glare sparkle

On the low end of moderate AG sparkle. Visible.

Tilt

Most X3 Pro pens I tested exhibit a kind of "pulsing" with tilt with the unit I had.

If you are drawing and notice tilt interfering, disable tilt in your app's brush settings.

Pen compatibility testing

X3 Pro and X3 Pro Slim - I have 11 of these. These all worked but 8 of them measure tilt a bit erratically. Pressure worked fine. This issue with tilt was also present in the XP-Pen Magic Drawing Pad GEN2.

X3 Pro roller - I have only one of these pens, and pressure did not work, so I could not draw. The problem with the pressure might have been the pen itself. It's hard to tell since I only have one of these pens.
