# Wacom Cintiq Pro 32 touch (DTH-3220) notes
## Overview
The Cintiq Pro 32 Touch was released around 2018. It still is an amazing drawing device, given its age and size. It is actually as good as anything else on the market in 2026. It has an excellent drawing experience driven by the included Pro Pen 2, model number KP504E, and an absolutely gigantic screen.

## Should you get the tablet in 2026?
This is a nuanced issue. it will work well as a tablet but you should be aware what you are getting into.
PROS:
* the tablet's drawing performance and display performance are excellent. I don't have any hesitation in saying that it will work as well as any other tablet that is available.
* You may find used units for a good price. I have seen it listed from $3,000 to $1,200. The unit I bought was about $1200.
* It is large - this can feel luxurious
* Multiple video connectivity options - makes it more likely to work with your computer.
CONS
* It is 10 years old and we do expect Wacom to drop driver support sometime in the next few years. When the driver support stops, you're going to have to deal with that somehow. You could use an older driver, or you could use open tablet driver. At some point, an older driver will eventually not work on a more modern version of Windows or Mac OS. We just don't know when that might occur.
* It is large - It may be too large for you. I recommend creating a cardboard mockup that includes its bezel and drawing a rectangle where the screen is. This way, you can simulate what it would feel like for you.
## Included Pen
The tablet comes with the Wacom Pro Pen, model number KP504E. As of 2026, this pen is still likely the best drawing pen that has ever existed, with a very low initial activation force, a very high maximum pressure, and good ergonomics.

## Ergonomics
### Dealing with the size
This tablet is the largest Pen display ever made.
* Desk space - You will essentially have to reserve a desk for using it. It will occupy so much space on your desk that you will be unable to do anything else. It will make it challenging to reach for a keyboard if you use a lot of keyboard shortcuts. So, consider looking into auxiliary input devices like the TourBox.
* It is very heavy - it is also incredibly difficult to move. So, you aren't going to be able to push it out of the way easily.
* Misc -I also found a tendency for my drawing tablet pens to roll under the tablet, which requires me to lift up the tablet from one side to see if anything's hidden underneath.
* Reachability - Some people may have trouble reaching the top edge of the tablet screen or the top corners.

This tablet does not come with a stand.
### Legs
This tablet does come with two folding legs. I found that the legs put the tablet at enough of an angle that it's very comfortable to use, though some people may want to get a stand to achieve a higher angle.

* Power - This tablet has a port for power and then it also has three separate ways to get a video signal.
* Video - There are three separate ways of getting a video signal to the tablet: DisplayPort, HDMI, and USB-C.
## Drawing experience
### Overview
The drawing experience is excellent, there is no doubt about that. Across the board, Wacom still continues to be the best drawing experience ever provided in this space.
### Diagonal wobble
RATING: VERY GOOD (VERY LOW)
Diagonal wobble was very good. There were only very tiny amounts of wobble present in the strokes that I observed at different speeds. My feeling is the amount of wobble I saw is better than most Pen displays. In fact, I think it's a little bit better even than the Cintiq Pro 27.
### Lag
The lag is typical for a Pen display of this size. As you draw, you can see the pointer trailing the physical tip of the pen a little bit. There was nothing especially unusual about the amount of lag; it was very typical for what we see inn pen displays.
