## Other links

I do not own this tablet and do not plan to purchase it. However, I looked through several reviews linked above to learn what others were saying. I have distilled key takeaways and added a few thoughts of my own.

Overall, what you'll notice from the three reviewers that I looked at is that they have very divergent opinions on this device.

My takeaway is:

* This is definitely a big step up in Huion's Android drawing-tablet quality. It finally uses a pen with Huion's latest pen technology, rather than USI. Its older tablets used USI, which is awful for drawing.
* I think you're better off getting a Wacom MovinkPad 11. It offers a superior drawing experience and slightly better performance.

## Notes

**Surface texture**

In general, reviewers found the surface nice to draw on because of its texture. The pen seems to move smoothly along the surface while maintaining enough grip. Adam comments that the surface feels slightly more aggressive, more like a film than etched glass.

**Parallax**

Teoh notes some visible parallax in the display, even though it is laminated. However, he also points out that you would not typically notice it unless you deliberately view it from a certain angle.

**Brightness**

Based on reviewer feedback, I think this tablet behaves like many other Android drawing tablets. It is bright enough for indoor use, but not bright enough for outdoor use.

**Anti-Glare treatment**

The display appears to have a typical anti-glare treatment, visible in the videos. Adam comments that the anti-glare treatment is not sufficient for outdoor use.

**Pixel density**

Teoh points out that pixelation is not noticeable.

Overall, both Brad and Teoh liked the display colors. Adam had a very different opinion. He disliked the color calibration and contrast, and commented on a noticeable red shift.

**The Pen: PW600C**

Huion says it is part of the PenTech 4.0 series. I have used this series extensively and think it is the best non-Wacom pen series currently on the market.

Huion says that the PW600C is part of the Pentech 4.0 series. I have used the PW600 series pens extensively and as of 2026 the PW600 series is the best non Wacom pen series we have on the market.

Some key points about the pen:

* It has a slim body, rather than the traditional thicker body found with drawing tablets.
* It only has one button.
* It does not have an eraser.

The PW600 series is well known for three things:

* A relatively low IAF.
* A relatively high maximum pressure.
* Consistency between units for both IAF and maximum pressure.

We do not yet have data about the PW600C pen's IAF and maximum pressure. For now, we should expect it to behave like other PW600 pens.

Like other EMR drawing-tablet pens, this pen does not have an internal battery. It gets power simply by being near the tablet.

A common theme among reviewers was the pen's single button. It does not protrude far from the pen body. Reviewers frequently commented on accidentally pressing it. They also found it easy to lose the pen's orientation in hand.

Huion documentation says that the PW600C pen was tuned for the Kamvas Pad 12 digitizer. It does not recommend using other PW600 pens with this tablet. However, we do not know what would happen if you tried, or what the exact tuning involved.

**Drawing experience**

Opinions on the drawing experience were varied.

Based on the review videos, I think the performance does not match a Wacom MovinkPad 11.

For example, Brad pointed out that he did not experience diagonal wobble while drawing. However, he said you would probably find it if you looked for it. Teoh commented on abrupt transitions in tilt, which can produce ugly strokes. In Teoh's video, I noticed unpleasant artifacts in several strokes, especially when he used Concepts.

Teoh commented that there are some kind of very abrupt transitions in tilt. Which can produce some pretty ugly strokes. In the Teoh video I found that. In a couple of places in his strokes. Especially when he used the Concepts app, you can see some very wild, unpleasant artifacts in the strokes.

If you use tilt in your drawing, this may not be the tablet for you. Even if you do not use tilt, check your brush settings. You should probably disable tilt, otherwise it might interfere with your strokes.

**Pen behavior customization**

Huion seems to have added special pen settings that I have not seen before on any Android drawing tablet.

Specifically, there is a setting to adjust the pointer position relative to the pen tip. This is not the same as a normal drawing-tablet driver's calibration feature. However, it might help correct small misalignments.

There is another setting to control pressure softness or firmness. It appears as a slider. This is effectively a pressure curve, but it does not show the actual graph.

**Performance**

In general, reviewers considered its performance acceptable for drawing, but it is definitely not a high-performance device.

Brad ran a PassMark benchmark and noticed that it seemed about 30% slower than a Wacom MovinkPad 11.

Adam's review found that it clearly lagged behind the iPad Air 13 when comparing performance in Clip Studio Paint.

**Longevity**

This tablet comes with Android 16, which is relatively recent. However, as of September 2026, Android 17 is the current version. Huion has not made any statements about potential upgrades. We can therefore expect it to remain on Android 16.
