I looked through several reviews (linked above) to find out what others were saying. I've distilled some key takeaways and added a few thoughts of my own. Overall, the three reviewers have very divergent opinions on this device. My takeaways: * This tablet definitely is a big step up for Huion in the quality of their Android drawing tablets since. Now we finally have a pen that's using their latest pen technology and not USI which their older tablets used. (USI is awful for drawing.) * Overall, you're better off getting a Wacom MovinkPad 11 which will offer a superior drawing experience because it has a better (albeit more expensive) pen and a bit better performance. ## Notes **Surface texture** In general, reviewers found that the surface is nice to draw on due its texture - the pen seems to move along the surface smoothly and maintain enough grip. Adam mentioned that he finds the surface to feel a little bit more aggressive - feeling more like a matte plastic film than etched glass. **Parallax** Teoh notes that there is some visible parallax in the display even though it is a laminating display. The parallax is clearly visible in his video. On the other hand, he also points out that you wouldn't typically notice this unless you're really trying to put your eyes in a certain angle to see it. **Brightness** Based on the reviewer feedback, this tablet behaves just like many other Android Drawing tablets in that it's bright enough to be used indoors, but not bright enough to be used outdoors. **Anti-Glare treatment** The tablet seems to a have typical anti glare treatment. Adam does comment that The antiglare treatment isn't sufficient to really enable using the tablet outside - but that is typical for this class of device. **Pixel density** The resolution of this tablet is 2400 by 1600. Teoh points out that pixelation is not noticeable. **Color** Both Brad and Teoh overall liked the colors of the display. Adam did not like the color calibration or the contrast and commented on a noticeable red shift. **The Pen: PW600C** The tablet comes with A PW600C pen. Huion says that the PW600C is part of the Pentech 4.0 series. I have used the PW600 series pens extensively and as of 2026 the PW600 series is the best non Wacom pen series we have on the market. Some key points about the PW600C pen. * It has a slim body, not the traditional thicker body that you might see with the drawing tablet. In other words, it's not shaped like a Wacom Pro Pen 2. * It only has one button. * It does not have an eraser. In my pressure testing the PW600 series is very known for three things: * A relatively low IAF. * A relatively high maximum pressure. * And that it is consistent unit to unit for both IAF and maximum pressure. We don't have any data yet about the PW600C pen in terms of IAF and maximum pressure. For now we should expect it to behave like the other PW600 pens. Like other drawing tablet EMR pens, This pen does not have an internal battery. It gets its power simply by being near the tablet. A common theme to the reviewers was that Pen's single button. The button does not protrude much from the pen body and there were frequent comments about reviewers accidentally pressing the button. And also because the pen doesn't protrude that it was easy for the reviewers to lose the orientation of the pen in the hand. Huion documentation says that the PW600C pen was tuned for the Kamvas Pad 12. They don't recommend using the other PW600 pens with this tablet. Having said that, we don't actually know what would happen if you tried, and we're not sure what the exact tuning they performed. **Drawing experience** Opinions on the drawing experience were varied. By looking at the review videos, I think the performance Does not live up to What you would see in a Wacom MovinkPad 11. For example, Brad pointed out that while he didn't experience diagonal wobble while he was drawing that if you go looking for it, you'll probably find it. Teoh commented that there are some kind of very abrupt transitions in tilt. Which can produce some pretty ugly strokes. In the Teoh video I found that. In a couple of places in his strokes. Especially when he used the Concepts app, you can see some very wild, unpleasant artifacts in the strokes. So if you use tilt in your drawing, this may not be the tablet for you. And even if you don't use tilt, you want to check with your brush settings and disable tilt, otherwise it might interfere with your strokes. **Pen behavior customization** Huion seems to have added some special settings for the pen. Which I have not seen before in any. Android drawing tablet. I hope more tablet brands do this! Specifically, Huion added a setting to help tweak the pointer position relative to the pen tip. While this isn't the same as what you would normally experience as a "calibration" feature In a normal drawing tablet driver, this might help deal with any small misalignments. And they added another setting to control the softness or firmness of the pressure. This shows up as a slider. So this is effectively the equivalent of a pressure curve. They just don't show you the actual pressure curve graph. **Performance** The tablet comes with a MediaTek Genio 720 processor. In general, the reviewers found the tablet's performance acceptable for drawing, but it is definitely not a high performance device. Brad ran a Passmark benchmark and noticed that it seemed about 30% slower than a Wacom MovinkPad 11. Adam's review showed that the tablet's performance clearly lagged behind the performance of the iPad Air 13 when comparing the performance on Clip Studio Paint. **Longevity** This tablet comes with Android 16, which is relatively recent, but as of September 2026, the most current version of Android is Android 17. Huion hasn't made any statements about potential upgrades. So we can expect that it will always remain on Android 16.
