# Surface protectors ## Overview Pen tablets (screenless tablets) have a plastic surface and depending on how you use them are subject to some amount of wear. If you are looking for protection for a pen display (screen): [Screen protectors](/drawtab/catalog/accessories/screen-protectors.md) ## Surface protectors do not interfere with the pen These protective sheets do NOT interfere with how your pen works. The EMR signal from the pen, passes right through non-metallic materials such as plastic or glass. ## Manufacturer options * **Wacom** makes Texture Sheets available for its Intuos Pro pen 2017 and Intuos Pro 2025 tablets. More here: [Wacom texture sheets](/drawtab/catalog/accessories/surface-protectors/wacom-texture-sheets.md) * XP-Pen and Huion sell screen protectors for **some** of their tablets. ## 3rd-party options * **Foxbox** - These are very rugged and opaque sheets good for pen tablets. And you can customize them with your own images. They have a HEAVY texture and will tend to wear through your nibs. They might be an option for some of you.
