Surface protectors

Overview

Pen tablets (screenless tablets) have a plastic surface and depending on how you use them are subject to some amount of wear.

Surface protectors do not interfere with the pen

These protective sheets do NOT interfere with how your pen works. The EMR signal from the pen, passes right through non-metallic materials such as plastic or glass.

Manufacturer options

• Wacom makes Texture Sheets available for its Intuos Pro pen 2017 and Intuos Pro 2025 tablets. More here: Wacom texture sheets

• XP-Pen and Huion sell screen protectors for some of their tablets.

3rd-party options

• Foxbox - These are very rugged and opaque sheets good for pen tablets. And you can customize them with your own images. They have a HEAVY texture and will tend to wear through your nibs. More here: Foxbox covers

Screen protectors on pen tablets

You can use screen protectors intended for pen displays for pen tablets. See Screen protectors. Some suppliers of screen protectors not only sell pre-cut sizes for specific tablets, but also will cut out a size to your specification for your specific tablet.
